Combine photos, scans and screenshots into a single PDF — one image per page, on A4, US Letter or pages shaped like your images. The PDF is made in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Choose or drop images (JPG, PNG, WebP…). Each becomes one page, in the order of the file names. Nothing is uploaded.

How to convert JPG to PDF

  1. Choose or drop your images — photos, scanned pages, screenshots. JPG, PNG, WebP and the other formats your browser can display all work.
  2. Pick the page size: A4 (used almost everywhere), US Letter (USA, Canada and a few other countries), or "Same shape as image" for pages that match each picture with no empty bands.
  3. Choose the orientation and margin. Automatic orientation turns each page to match its image: wide photos get landscape pages, tall ones portrait.
  4. Create the PDF and download it. Every image becomes one page, centred and scaled to fit inside the margins without distortion.

The pages follow the order of the file names. To control the order, name the files 01, 02, 03… before adding them.

Page sizes and margins

PageMillimetresInchesPDF points

US Letter215.9 × 279.48.5 × 11612 × 792

PDF measures pages in points — 72 points to the inch, so one point is about 0.35 mm. The small margin is 20 points (7 mm) and the large one 40 points (14 mm), which keeps the picture clear of the unprintable edge on most home printers. "None" fills the page edge to edge, which suits on-screen documents.

Worked example

A 4,000 × 3,000 pixel phone photo is wider than it is tall, so with automatic orientation it gets a landscape A4 page, 297 × 210 mm. With the small margin the printable box is about 283 × 196 mm; the photo is scaled to keep its 4:3 shape, so its height fills the box at 196 mm and its width becomes 261 mm, centred on the page. On a portrait page the same photo would be limited by the width instead and print at 196 × 147 mm.

Image quality and file size

Each image is stored in the PDF as a JPG at high quality (90%). Very large photos are scaled so their longest side is at most 3,508 pixels — exactly what an A4 page needs at 300 pixels per inch, the usual standard for sharp printing — which keeps the PDF reasonably small without visible loss. If the PDF must be smaller still, for an email or an upload limit, first shrink the photos with the image compressor or the image resizer and then create the PDF from the smaller copies.

Transparent areas in PNG images become white, as on paper. Text in the images stays a picture: the PDF isn't searchable unless you run it through OCR software afterwards.

Private by design

Scans of IDs, contracts and bank statements are exactly the kind of file you shouldn't hand to a stranger's server. This converter builds the PDF inside your browser — the images never leave your device, and the downloaded PDF contains no camera metadata or GPS location from the photos. To change image formats first, use the image converter.

Frequently asked questions

How do I combine several images into one PDF?

Select or drop all the images at once. Each one becomes a page in a single PDF, in the order of the file names.

Which page size should I choose?

A4 is the standard in most of the world; US Letter is used in the USA and Canada. Choose "Same shape as image" for on-screen documents without white bands.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is created in your browser on your own device, so scans and photos stay private.

Can I convert PNG or screenshots to PDF too?

Yes. Any image your browser can open works — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and more. Transparent areas become white.

How do I change the page order?

The pages follow the file names. Rename the images 01, 02, 03… in the order you want and add them again.
