Eid al-Fitr is 1 Shawwal on Saudi Arabia’s Umm al-Qura calendar. Where it depends on sighting the new moon, Eid can fall a day later, and like every Islamic day it begins at sunset the evening before. The count uses the date on your device and starts over the day after.
